About Fur Feather Fin Pet Care


	I am Michele Gonzalez, owner and primary pet care provider at Fur Feather Fin Pet Care. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand that your pets are not simply "like" a part of your family... they ARE part of it. Growing up, my home was always filled with cats, dogs, birds, mice, gerbils, hamsters and fish. Family legend has it that my mother's cat, Cotton Ann, "hatched" me, as she laid across my mother's belly throughout her pregnancy. As an adult, I've kept up the trend, welcoming a menagerie of animals through my doors over the years... some to keep as my own and others rescued to find new, loving homes.

I have worked both independently in pet rescue (my extended network of friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances always know who to call) and as a volunteer with a local no-kill animal shelter. I cared for one of my own cats through a lifetime of diabetes - with twice daily insulin injections - and another through a difficult battle with cancer. For all the times I’d heard, "I don't know how you do it," I cherished every day I spent with them. No expense is too great - neither financial nor emotional - for the ones who bring so much love and happiness into our lives.

It is in light of all this that I started FFFPC. After spending over twenty years in the corporate world, I opted to take my job satisfaction to a new level... to that of absolutely loving what I do. From the time I was a young girl, I wanted to work with animals... and while the rain, snow and cold can sometimes make a day less than ideal, I simply wouldn't trade the opportunity to hug, love and cuddle pets for a living for anything.

In me - and FFFPC - your pets (and your home) will receive the most responsible and loving care available. We are bonded, insured and a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).
